Artist Statement
I am interested in capturing both beauty and horror within my works and aim, ultimately, to blend the hilarious and macabre especially as a visual narrative. My works take inspiration from the sound, theatrics, and conceptual elements of heavy metal music as well as pop culture. In my attempts to overlay the insane with laughter I strive to understand and engage with monsters both imagined and in our own time, instead of trying to destroying them.
